The client / the project

We are looking for You as Data Engineer if you would like to work remotely or from a Budapest XI. office on data solutions designed, specified, implemented and maintained by Big Data Department of United Consult.

Responsibilities

• Employs a variety of languages and tools to marry systems together for data ingestion and integration.
• Consumes best practices and ideas on effective data sharing and consumption.
• Automates repeatable and error-prone data integration and data preparation flows.
• Build large-scale batch and/or real-time data pipelines with data processing frameworks in cloud platforms and/or on-premises.
• Conversational level English is a must.
• In case of medior candidates, they will get professional mentoring and as a result they have to be able to quickly learn requirements analysis and system design.

Technologies / Skills

• Experienced with at least two of the following technologies: Qlik, Apache Kafka, Azure Data Factory, Azure Function Apps/Logic Apps, PySpark.

Advantages

• Experience in Hadoop, Big Data solutions
• Experience in data warehousing and ETL development
• Experience in self-service BI solutions (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Microstrategy etc.)
