Responsibilities

• Collecting data from various sources within an organization, such as databases, spreadsheets, APIs, and external data providers.
• Focuses on creating and maintaining the technological infrastructure and tools necessary for businesses to gather, transform, analyze, and visualize data.
• Designing and developing data integration processes to ensure that data flows smoothly and consistently into a central repository.
• Performing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to clean, reshape, and transform raw data into a format suitable for analysis. This involves tasks like data cleansing, aggregation, and creating calculated fields.
• Designing and maintaining databases optimized for querying and reporting. This could involve creating star or snowflake schemas, indexing data, and ensuring efficient data retrieval.
• Building interactive dashboards and reports that visualize data insights in a user-friendly manner. Using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or custom solutions to create visualizations that allow stakeholders to explore data and gain insights.
• Writing and optimizing SQL queries to retrieve data efficiently from databases. This helps ensure that queries are responsive even when dealing with large datasets.
• Designing data models that define relationships between different data entities, allowing for efficient data exploration and analysis. These models help users understand the structure of the data and how different elements are interconnected.

Technologies / Skills

• 5+ years of experience in the field.
• MSSQL, SQL knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Solid background in designing and implementing Power BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
• Strong understanding of database performance tuning and optimization.
