Responsibilities

• Implementing and supporting foundational layer (Platform) components of a large and complex SAP landscape in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
• Understanding Technical and Customer business objectives and operating in an enterprise wide environment.
• Providing consulting advice, as needed, on implementing solutions using both SAP and company-developed best practices.
• Collaborating within a team environment based on Agile methodology.
• Working closely with experienced IT staff and mentoring less experienced personnel in SAP
• Install/Upgrade and Configure NetWeaver/HANA.
• Supporting multi-server NetWeaver/HANA implementations, including high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Collaborating with security teams to apply security models, projects, groups, and users.
• Setting up and implementing SSO, Kerberos, and HTTPS.
• Interacting with vendors, particularly SAP.
• Configuring alerts and probes (both embedded and external, e.g., SAP Focused Run, Solution Manager).
• Keep system documentation evergreen with new components and other updates
• Troubleshooting issues and providing recommendations for improvements (e.g., Netweaver ABAP/Java, HANA).
• Analyzing and resolving performance issues in the system(s).
• Providing general troubleshooting (Levels 2 and 3) on any of the named platforms.
• Executing disaster recovery and cyber recovery tests.

Technologies / Skills

• A minimum of 6 years strong technical skills in implementation and support of SAP ECC, SAP NetWeaver ABAP/Java systems, HANA/Oracle database and S/4 HANA
• Windows Server/UNIX/Linux administration experience
• Three or more full-lifecycle implementations of SAP
• Change Management experience
• IT infrastructure experience
• Experience in Agile methodology
