The client / the project

The team is looking for  to be part of our exciting journey to develop, build, maintain, deploy product platform for market leading medical visualization products. You need to support OS maintenance activity and you will be responsible for designing and programming a set of features, tools during our transformation in product modernization and product development, security hardening.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver his on duties with proper quality, write maintainable and clean code.
• Understand, follow and drive upcoming OS/platform change impacts, tech debts and risk.
• Research and POC creation for integration and demonstrating technical feasibility.
• Code reviews, define interfaces between code modules and apply existing technology to designs.
• Setup/maintain platform patching mechanism with necessary development, environment, test and process and drive this activity across the organization.
• Breaking down problems, clarify requirements and estimate time for development tasks.
• Reviewing, classifying and evaluating risks, defects which is related to product / platform.
• Ensuring documentation integrity and quality for the program area.
• Interact with other development teams in a global context.
• Works independently.
• Share knowledge and best practices within team, educating colleagues.

Technologies / Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
• Experience in software development and OS/platform maintenance (2 years of relevant work experience).
• Good understanding of Linux system (like SLES or RedHat based).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, toolsets and experience in.
• Good knowledge of source code and artifact repositories (Git, GitHub, Nexus and/or similar tools).
• Experience in Java language or C++ and experience / openness to use others like Python, Go.
• Experience in containerization (Docker or Kubernetes).
• Skilled in writing code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
• Skilled in breaking down problems and documenting problem statements.
• Has the ability to analyze and evaluate impact of changes, defects and different technology choicesHas the ability to analyze and evaluate impact of changes, defects and different technology choices.
• Cloud experience is a plus (AWS, Azure, GCP…).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
