The client/project
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Java.
- Create and execute automated API tests with REST Assured.
- Develop reliable and maintainable web UI tests using Selenide.
- Design test automation following the Page Object Model (POM) pattern.
- Build and maintain automated mobile tests for Android and iOS using Appium.
- Create and execute performance and load tests using Apache JMeter.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to ensure software quality.
- Continuously improve test automation processes, frameworks, and best practices.
Required skills/technologies used
- Strong Java programming skills with solid object-oriented programming knowledge.
- Experience with test automation framework development.
- Hands-on experience with REST Assured for API testing.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON, and authentication mechanisms.
- Experience with Selenide for web UI automation.
- Knowledge of Selenium WebDriver concepts and Page Object Model (POM).
- Familiarity with native and hybrid mobile application testing.
- Experience with Apache JMeter for performance and load testing.
- Knowledge of JMeter components, including Thread Groups, Samplers, Listeners, and Assertions.
- Experience with JUnit, TestNG, Maven, and/or Gradle.
Advantages
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with Appium for Android and iOS test automation.
- Knowledge of Git version control.
- Experience with Docker or containerized test environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms.
- ISTQB certification is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
