The client/project
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing greenfield Java-based components for the KYC and Multisim projects
- Applying an API-first approach, including the design and implementation of REST APIs and backend services
- Developing and maintaining microservice-based backend solutions
- Decomposing complex development tasks and aligning technical solutions with the team
- Collaborating with the Product Owner, lead developer, architects, and QA engineers
- Ensuring code quality, participating in code reviews, and delivering maintainable solutions
- Preparing technical documentation and solution descriptions where necessary
Required skills/technologies used
- At least 5 years of software development experience in an enterprise environment
- Strong hands-on Java development experience
- Solid knowledge of Spring Boot
- Experience with microservice architecture and REST API development
- Experience with OpenAPI-first or contract-driven API delivery
- Practical knowledge of containerized environments
- Strong code quality mindset, including peer reviews and maintainable service design practices
- Experience working in agile environments, with knowledge of Jira and Confluence
Advantages
