The client/project
We are looking for an experienced Data Warehouse / ETL Developer who is confident working in MSSQL and SSIS environments and can independently manage end-to-end ETL development processes from analysis to implementation. We are seeking someone who not only develops solutions, but also understands data structures deeply, optimizes processes, and actively contributes to stable operations.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end ETL development based on MSSQL and SSIS
- Extracting, transforming, and loading data from various source systems
- Development and maintenance of both DB2DB and file-based interfaces
- Maintenance and enhancement of Data Warehouse layers (IF, Staging, ODS, MDW, MDM)
- Development, scheduling, and error handling of SSIS packages
- Monitoring ETL jobs and loading processes in DEV and TST environments
- Troubleshooting and performance optimization of data loading processes
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation in Confluence
- Collaboration with business and technical teams
Required skills/technologies used
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with MSSQL and SSIS development
- Strong T-SQL knowledge and experience with complex stored procedures
- SQL optimization and database performance tuning skills
- Experience working in Data Warehouse environments and building ETL processes
- Confident daily usage of Jira and Confluence
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with incomplete or missing BA specifications by analyzing existing data structures and models
