The client/project
Responsibilities
- Assess and document end-to-end business processes in the financial / leasing domain
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand how data is generated and used across systems
- Translate business needs into data-focused requirements for the renewal and optimization of the existing data warehouse
- Support the definition of a new database structure
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and missing information in existing documentation and systems
- Prepare input for future reporting and BI layer
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and development teams
- Support and coordinate the work of other Business Analysts (2 team members)
Required skills/technologies used
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in data-driven environments
- Experience with data warehouse or BI-related projects
- Strong ability to analyze and structure business processes and data flows
- Experience in financial / banking domain (leasing is a strong advantage but not required)
- Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and translate needs into specifications
- SQL knowledge on query level
- Experience working with legacy systems and modernization initiatives
- Experience with tools like Confluence, Enterprise Architect
- Ability to support / coordinate other analysts
