The client/project
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain middleware platforms and integration services (IBM MQ, IBM ACE, Kafka/Redpanda)
- Support Java-based integration applications and ensure stable production operations
Required skills/technologies used
- 5–10 years of professional experience in operating integrated application environments
- Operations knowledge in:
- IBM MQ
- IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
- ESB
- Kafka / Redpanda
- Experience operating 24/7 high-availability systems
- Experience in Java application operations/support
- Strong working knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Strong knowledge of database technologies (SQL queries, stored procedures)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Constructive and proactive mindset
Advantages
- Knowledge of Confluence and JIRA
- Experience with Zabbix monitoring systems
- Knowledge of centralized logging solutions (Splunk, Elasticsearch/Kibana)
- Experience with Git-based version control systems
- ITIL knowledge
- Previous experience in a banking environment and in agile teams
