The client/project
Responsibilities
- Requesting and integrating Resource Accounts with namespaces, and implementing components within the Resource Account, including RDS, APIs, S3, MSK, Cognito, SES, PrivateLink endpoints, and endpoint services across non-production and production environments
- Establishing RICE API integrations
- Managing certificates, implementing AMI update and patching processes, and DNS configuration
- Designing routing between AWS–Databricks and AWS–local on-premise systems
- Developing Lambda functions
- Building automated processes and scalable, maintainable infrastructure
- Implementing and operating infrastructure components, environments, and tools supporting continuous development, testing, deployment, and operations processes, including CI/CD pipelines, source code management automation, automated testing integration, monitoring, and automated intervention capabilities
- Preparing version upgrades, tracking and validating deployments
- Performing quality assurance tasks and preparing (generating) software documentation
- Collaborating with experts, analysts, architects, developers, and testers in agile teams and related project work
- Participating in system architecture design with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and operational considerations
- Maintaining system performance and cost efficiency
Required skills/technologies used
- At least 5 years of relevant DevOps experience
- Confident English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Experience with scripting languages and algorithm development (e.g. Shell scripting, Python, Ruby), as well as familiarity with Java / Java Spring Boot
- Knowledge of operating systems (e.g. Linux), including memory management, TCP/IP, and network handling
- Familiarity with CI/CD and GitOps automation tools (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab, Artifactory, Kargo, ArgoCD) and testing tools (e.g. Zephyr, Selenium, Postman, SoapUI)
- Knowledge of templating languages and configuration management tools (Helm Charts, Kustomize, Ansible)
- Experience with integration solutions (REST APIs, SOA services)
- Knowledge of database query languages (Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience using the Maven build tool
