Feladatok

• Design and Implement Automation Solutions: As part of your responsibility, you will be expected to develop automation scripts and furthermore build tools that can be used in order to automate other tasks within the network. Some of them are configuration, monitoring, and diagnostics. Also, you must understand the network architecture and find the places in a network where automation is much needed.
• Network Device Automation: Understand how to automate network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls through the use of automation tools and programming languages. This includes device onboarding, firmware updates as well as configuration changes to other related processes.
• Network Monitoring and Analytics: Implement automated monitoring solutions to collect network data and generate actionable insights. You will examine how the network works, what shortcomings can be noted, and how to design a response system to common problems automatically.
• Scripting and Tool Development: Develop scripts, as well as create the tools whereby several steps could be executed routinely as automated processes in the network.

Szükséges ismeretek/ Használt technológiák

• 5+ years of experience in an engineering environment
• Expert Python development
• Experienced working with Linux-based systems
• Knowledgeable of code versioning tools (e.g. Git) and have experience with build management and CI/CD. GitHub action development to automate deployment workflows
• Knowledge of API design and development.
• Experience with Ansible, Nornir, Netmiko or Scrapli
• Experience with Application containers and tools like Docker, Kubernetes
• Ability to build software using microservices
• Have a high capacity to learn; we are interested in how you think, not just what you know
• A flexible and reliable team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
• Can stay focused on the team’s roadmap and objectives in the long term
