About the client/project
Tasks
- Drive Azure best practices and performance optimization
- Design secure, high‑performance virtual networks
- Configure policies, autoscaling, OS hardening
- Deploy, automate, and troubleshoot Azure DevOps
- Manage configuration and disaster recovery
- Contribute to test design and validation
- Automate and scale Azure IaaS deployments
- Lead change management and governance (cost & security initiatives across projects.)
- Own major incident resolution and stakeholder communication
- Execute critical changes and maintain documentation
- Build team knowledge maps and training plans
Necessary knowledge/technologies used
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputed institute
- 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure & Cloud Operations and minimum 5+ years hands‑on in Azure Cloud Operations
- Strong expertise in Azure services: VM, VNET, NSG, Storage, VPN, Load Balancers, autoscaling, availability sets, AKS/ACS, Backup & Recovery
- Solid experience with Azure PaaS (Azure SQL, Web Apps, WAF)
- Proven skills in:
- Automation/runbooks, ARM templates, Terraform
- Deploying, automating, and troubleshooting complex issues in Azure DevOps
- Track record of implementing Azure best practices, gap analysis, and performance tuning
- Designing secure, high‑performance virtual networks, security vulnerability identification and remediation
- Configuration management and disaster recovery expertise
- Configuring policies, rules, autoscaling, OS hardening
- Cost optimization, rightsizing, and scaling strategies
- Experience with VNet, Subnets, CDN, Endpoints, DNS (Azure DNS)
- Familiarity with Azure OMS Monitoring, Application Insights
- Experience managing at least one technology area: Windows, Linux, Virtualization, SQL, Oracle, Networking, Firewalls
- Good understanding of ITSM processes
It gives you an advantage
- Vendor certifications in Virtualization, Systems, Storage, Networking
- Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ‑103)
- Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies (AZ‑300)
- ITIL and/or Agile methodology knowledge
- Experience coordinating with 3rd‑party vendors/partners.
