About the client/project
Tasks
- Design and manage the overall testing strategy throughout the full project lifecycle
- Define, implement, and enforce testing processes, methodologies, and quality assurance principles
- Perform hands-on manual testing of IT systems, with a strong focus on backend components and REST APIs
- Coordinate and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Execute functional, regression, and exploratory testing activities
- Monitor and report on testing progress, risks, defects, and overall quality status
- Support defect management and prioritization using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Collaborate closely with development, business, and project teams in an Agile / SCRUM environment
Necessary knowledge/technologies used
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing, primarily backend and API testing
- Strong knowledge of REST API testing, data validation, and business logic verification
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies (functional testing, regression testing, etc.)
- Experience with test management tools (Jira Xray preferred; other tools acceptable)
- Practical experience working in SCRUM / Agile methodologies
- Strong working knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, independent, and structured working style
- Confident English communication skills, both written and spoken
