About the client/project
Tasks
- Backend-focused full stack development in a Node.js / TypeScript environment, primarily using NestJS, with openness to Java / Spring Boot
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful (and when needed SOAP) APIs
- Participate in the design and implementation of microservice-based architectures
- Implement database integrations using both relational and NoSQL technologies
- Understand and actively contribute to the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layer
- Develop and maintain Angular-based frontend applications, with the ability to work independently
- Contribute to a micro-frontend architecture
- Write unit and end-to-end tests (e.g. Jasmine, Cypress, and appropriate backend testing frameworks)
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend and frontend developers, and product owners
- Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- On-site work in Törökbálint two-three days per week
Necessary knowledge/technologies used
- 5+ years of software development experience, with a strong backend focus
- Solid experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Preferred: hands-on experience with NestJS
- Java / Spring Boot experience is acceptable, with openness to Node.js
- Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Database experience with: Relational databases: MySQL, MSSQL; NoSQL / caching solutions: MongoDB, Redis
- Knowledge of ORM technologies (e.g. TypeORM, Prisma, Hibernate, or similar)
- Experience with Kafka or other message-broker systems
- Experience working in microservice-based architectures
- Hands-on experience in containerized environments (Docker, OpenShift / OKD)
- Angular (17+, preferably 19+) knowledge: not the main focus, but independent development capability is required
- Confident knowledge of RxJS, Signals, or similar state-management approaches
- Solid understanding of HTML5, SCSS, and responsive design
- Knowledge of JSON and JWT-based authentication
- Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Intermediate level English proficiency
