About the client/project
Tasks
- Perform manual testing of IT systems with a strong focus on backend components
- Test REST APIs, validate data integrity, and verify business logic
- Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and exploratory test cases
- Analyze requirements and technical documentation to identify test scenarios
- Log, track, and manage defects through the full lifecycle using test management tools
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders within SCRUM teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards
Necessary knowledge/technologies used
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing, primarily backend and API testing
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies (functional testing, regression testing, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work proactively and independently
- Experience with test management tools (Jira Xray preferred; other tools acceptable)
- Practical experience working in SCRUM / Agile environments
- Strong knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Confident English communication skills, both written and spoken
