About the client/project
Tasks
- Implement infrastructure solutions for service and customer projects based on engineering deliverables.
- Conduct quality assurance on network designs and escalate design issues to Engineering.
- Act as primary contact for vendors during operational issues.
- Develop and maintain technical support processes and handover documentation.
- Build and maintain Network Service Support Models and automate workflows.
- Support both development and maintenance activities.
Necessary knowledge/technologies used
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in Network Engineering, plus at least 1 year in Network Security (Fortinet Firewalls).
- Strong troubleshooting skills across networking and security domains.
- Degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid technical foundation and ability to learn quickly.
- Willingness to provide occasional on-call or after-hours support.
It gives you an advantage
- Experience with FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
- Automation skills (Python, Ansible, Nautobot).
- Familiarity with switching, routing, SD-WAN, and wireless technologies.
- Experience in agile environments and enterprise-grade infrastructure.
