Senior Manual Tester - 5434

The project involves supporting the quality assurance activities of a proprietary securities issuance workflow platform and its integrated applications. Responsibilities include validating business requirements and system functionality, testing complex business processes across multiple systems, ensuring the integrity of interfaces and data exchanges, supporting UAT and migration testing, and working closely with business stakeholders and development teams within an Agile environment to deliver reliable and compliant software solutions.

• Execute business and functional testing of the new system and its integrated systems.
• Execute and document test cases based on business requirements, technical specifications, and system designs.
• Perform testing activities for systems developed using Agile methodology, following a story-based approach.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
• Validate frontend and backend processes across multiple test environments.
• Verify data flows, interfaces, and business processes between integrated systems.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Support migration testing, including data validation and data verification tasks.
• Document and report test results, defects, and testing status accurately.
• Collaborate with business, development, and operations teams to investigate and resolve defects.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in manual software testing.
• Extensive experience in functional and regression testing of complex business applications.
• Experience supporting UAT processes.
• Hands-on experience testing integrated systems, interfaces, and message-based integrations.
• Experience with data validation and migration testing projects.
• Ability to interpret business requirements, functional specifications, and system design documentation.
• Knowledge of testing systems developed using Agile methodologies.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, HP ALM/QC, Zephyr, and QTest.

• SQL/PLSQL knowledge for test data validation and data consistency verification.
• Experience with web service testing tools such as SoapUI.
• Basic knowledge of test automation (test case design, test strategy), experience with Java or BDD/Gherkin, and familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
• Experience testing banking or financial systems.
