About the client/project
Tasks
• Work with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements & vision
• Translate requirements / vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards
• Work with product line leaders and architects to develop multi generation software technology plans
• Be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure
• Collaborate with system engineers, frontend developers and backend developers to implement solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions
• Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
• Write codes that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
• Build features such as web services and Queries on existing tables
• Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
• Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using language of choice
• Support process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activities
• Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness
Necessary knowledge/technologies used
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience as a software developer
• Intermediate+ verbal and written communication skills in English
• Extensive experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Security, REST, SOAP.
• Experience in developing containerized services using Docker, Kubernetes or similar.
• Experience in automated test like unit libraries such as JUnit, Mockito.
• Working Knowledge with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar.
• Working knowledge in configuration management tools such as GitHub/Gitlab.
