The client/project

Responsibilities

Administer and support Cloudera Private Cloud Platform (PCP) and Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) environments.

Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cloudera clusters and services.

Manage containerized environments using Docker/Podman and Kubernetes/OpenShift.

Support Apache NiFi, Kafka, Ranger, Atlas, and Spark platforms.

Automate operational tasks using Python and/or Java.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Monitor platform health, performance, and availability.

Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Data Engineering teams.

Troubleshoot incidents and implement platform improvements.

Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required skills/technologies used

Experience with Cloudera Private Cloud Platform (PCP).

Experience with Cloudera Public Cloud Platform (CDP).

Knowledge of native private cloud technologies.

Experience with Docker and/or Podman.

Experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.

Experience with Apache NiFi.

Experience with Apache Kafka.

Experience with Apache Ranger and Apache Atlas.

Experience with Apache Spark.

Programming skills in Python.

Programming skills in Java.

Experience with DevOps and Platform Engineering.

Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with monitoring and cloud monitoring solutions.
