About the client/project

Tasks

Infra Management
  • Independently create, track, and administer environment setup tasks in Jira
  • Accurately document environment states, configurations, and changes, keeping documentation up to date
  • Identify and handle environment-related issues arising during the testing phase, and coordinate with the relevant teams
  • Maintain communication with development, testing, and operations teams
Operational Readiness
  • Manage Jira tasks for new applications throughout the entire lifecycle
  • Schedule, prioritize, and track development and documentation tasks
  • Support meeting deadlines and regularly update task statuses
  • Ensure operational readiness before releases
Release Management
  • Maintain records of versions and release packages per environment (dev / tstx / UAT / prod / etc.)
  • Track deployed packages in non-production and production environments
  • Provide operational support for release processes
  • Prepare and maintain basic release documentation

Necessary knowledge/technologies used

  • 2–4 years of relevant IT experience in application operations, IT operations, release management, or operational readiness
  • Confident Jira knowledge including independent task creation, administration, and status tracking
  • Strong independent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, manage, and escalate testing and environment-related issues when necessary
  • Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Precision and structured thinking with accurate handling of versions, packages, and environment-related information
  • Experience working in a project-based environment including task scheduling and deadline tracking
  • Basic IT infrastructure knowledge and understanding of how environments, applications, and releases operate
  • Basic release management knowledge including versioning and package management processes in production and non-production environments
  • English language skills in both written and spoken professional environments

  • Documentation and reporting experience
