Java Developer - 5320

We are looking for a Java Developer who would be responsible for the development of Central Customer Master and customer data management applications. This is a banking application that operates as a legacy system, and the task involves its development and maintenance.

• Develop stable, fault-tolerant, efficient, and transparent software in compliance with banking software requirements and development, operation, and security standards
• Provide server-side Java and database development, including related design and testing support tasks
• Implement developments related to the modernization of the bank’s customer data management system architecture
• Perform technological upgrades, participate in error handling, and release patch versions
• Maintain communication with layers and components that serve or use the given application/application components
• Participate in planning development processes for both traditional (on-premise) and cloud platforms, in cooperation with business and analytical teams
• Design and continuously implement business and IT monitoring functions within applications
• Perform quality assurance tasks – code reviews, debugging, bug fixing, testing, and DevOps support/tasks
• Work according to Agile methodology (Scrum framework)

• At least 5 years of experience as a Java developer in Java EE / Spring / Spring Boot application development
• Knowledge of database technologies (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Experience in PL/SQL development
• Knowledge of REST APIs and SOAP APIs
• Experience with or openness to cloud and container technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker)
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools (e.g., Bamboo, GitHub, Kubernetes)
• English language proficiency
• Strong collaboration skills
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum framework)
• Proactiveness, professional precision, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and effectively with good time management

• Knowledge of JSP, JSF / Icefaces technologies
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience with JavaScript and CSS
• Knowledge of application servers (e.g., WebSphere)
• DevOps knowledge in addition to development activities
• Experience in banking systems development
• Experience using ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA)
