The client/project
Responsibilities
- Provide professional guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing for manual testers working within the same domain.
- Support the Manual Testing Team Lead in resource allocation and coordination activities.
- Participate in test scope estimation and definition.
- Coordinate test execution prerequisites with Test Managers.
- Perform manual testing activities related to software development initiatives.
- Design and maintain test cases based on business requirements and system specifications.
- Define and prepare the necessary test data.
- Execute manual test cases and document test results.
- Report defects, track their resolution, and perform re-testing.
- Maintain and update existing test suites.
- Support test automation initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Test Managers and cross-functional teams.
- Propose improvements to increase testing efficiency and quality within the domain.
Required skills/technologies used
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in Manual Software Testing.
- At least 2 years of experience testing digital banking channels, such as mobile applications and internet banking/e-banking platforms.
- Experience in a coordination, mentoring, or support role.
- Confident English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Experience using ticketing systems.
- Solid understanding of ISTQB fundamentals.
- Commitment to following established testing methodologies.
Advantages
- Experience with Jira, Zephyr Scale, and Confluence.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- ISTQB certification.
- SQL knowledge and log analysis experience.
- Experience using Gherkin.
- Familiarity with IT methodologies such as Agile and ITIL.
- Basic understanding of software development technologies.
