About the client/project

Tasks

  • Establish and govern the integrated rolling master plan (full horizon + mandatory 3-month detailed view).
  • Consolidate domain-level plans into a coherent, cross-stream program roadmap.
  • Ensure cross-stream milestone alignment and forward-looking delivery visibility.
  • Integrate and continuously reflect cross-program dependencies and milestone impacts from parallel initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain the program-level dependency model (cross-stream and cross-program).
  • Ensure all dependencies are explicitly owned, tracked, and governed.
  • Operate a proactive risk radar (risk → mitigation → escalation), shifting from issue reaction to risk anticipation.
  • Identify structural bottlenecks early and escalate systemic delivery risks to executive level when required.
  • Maintain visibility on inbound and outbound dependencies with parallel programs and escalate misalignment risks.
  • Introduce forward-looking capacity forecasting beyond simple allocation tracking.
  • Consolidate demand visibility across streams and identify capability gaps ahead of milestone pressure.
  • Support prioritization trade-offs using data-based capacity insights, including shared resource contention across programs.
  • Own and continuously evolve the program governance framework and operating model.
  • Ensure governance forums are decision-oriented and effective.
  • Define and maintain entry/exit criteria standards and institutionalize delivery cadence.
  • Monitor adherence to agreed ways of working.
  • Provide consolidated executive-level program transparency.
  • Maintain program KPI framework and milestone predictability tracking.
  • Ensure a single source of truth for program status and cross-program exposure.
  • Deliver structured reporting that enables steering decisions rather than reactive status communication.

Necessary knowledge/technologies used

  • 8+ years of experience in program management, PMO leadership, or large-scale transformation environments.
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-stream and multi-year programs.
  • Strong expertise in integrated planning, dependency management, and risk governance models.
  • Experience managing cross-program dependencies and shared resource contention.
  • Advanced understanding of capacity planning and forecasting methodologies.
  • Strong governance framework design and operating model implementation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to escalate and manage systemic delivery risks at executive level.
  • Excellent analytical and structural thinking capability.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to enforce planning discipline and challenge unrealistic commitments constructively.
  • High level of organizational awareness and ability to operate across multiple domains without direct authority.
