About the client/project
Tasks
Necessary knowledge/technologies used
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
- Strong system-level thinking and experience designing complex data solutions
- Proven experience in enterprise environments
- Solid background in data management and data engineering practices
- Strong SQL skills (Oracle preferred)
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Spark
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure is a strong advantage)
- Practical experience with Databricks
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Ability to mentor and support other engineers
- Proactive, ownership-driven mindset
It gives you an advantage
- Experience with streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Spark Streaming)
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks/tools
- Experience in hybrid (cloud + on-premise) data architectures
- Tech lead experience or readiness to step into such a role
