We looked to the future and brought home a little of it

We visited San Francisco, where we returned home full of inspiration and ideas, enriched with technological innovations that are extremely useful for our customers. As we have previously reported, Dreamforce 2019, one of the most significant conferences in the tech profession, was held in the capital of the IT world from November 19 to 22, in which, of course, we also participated.

As previously reported, it was held in the capital of the IT world between November 19-22 Dreamforce 2019, one of the most important conferences in the tech profession, in which of course we also participated.

In California, it is not only the time that shines, but also the minds that dictate the IT trends of the 21st century. They keep the whole world in their fever with constant innovation. As a Salesforce Gold partner organizing the event, this is not the first time we have seen this at DreamForce. This year the conference was even more monumental, even more forward-looking, and therefore even more inspiring and motivating than before.

The new development of Salesforce was announced by Mark Benioff, president and CEO of the company, in a keynote presentation as the “Holy Grail of CRM”.

A Customer 360 TruthHis debut was without a doubt one of the biggest bangs of the event. As a consulting company, we were excited about this development, as our clients repeatedly demanded to take the modules we introduced and the use of the data stored there to the next level. And by optimizing the flow and processing of information between departments, the level of efficiency of sales, marketing, and customer service teams can be greatly increased. Another great advantage of Customer 360 Truth is that it is possible to use data from sales and external partners while creating a 360-degree customer image. By eliminating information fragmentation and providing instant access to data from various sources, it will be more effective than any previous system to achieve business objectives.

DreamForce also talked about an acquisition of paramount importance for our company: it now belongs to the corporate empire Tableau, which specializes in data analysis, which is another point of contact between our Big Data and Salesforce professionals. The company came under the umbrella of Salesforce in a $15.7 billion stock deal. Because Tableau is at the forefront of developing database-driven business intelligence, it can be seamlessly integrated into advanced CRM systems.

Einstein, the voice-controlled assistant

Interestingly, announcements concerning the future were also made by Mark Benioff, who managed to catch our colleague in the power of a selfie before his keynote presentation. For example, it turned out that the company's voice-controlled assistant, Einstein Voice Assistant, will be available in beta from February and 2021, as planned; and that they will enter into a partnership with one of the most significant cloud providers, Amazon Web Services, and thus AWS trainings will also be available on Trailhead. As an AWS Select Consulting Partner, we were also very pleased to hear this news. We also learned that the company has acquired an interest in Dropbox and Zoom Video, which has a great future and is also known in Hungary.

Of course, the presentations were not only about the expansion and innovations of Salesforce. The conference will also discuss current events in the IT sector and the marketing trends that will determine the future.

The organisers also placed a strong emphasis on sustainability issues when compiling the programme. It was the most environmentally-conscious Dreamforce of all time, for example, we drank water from refillable bottles and the food was completely beef free.

We listened with pleasure Barack Obama, the forty-fourth President of the United States, and Tim CookAlso an Apple-CEO presentation. The former spoke about the future generations of leaders, the importance of developing leadership qualities and the activities of his own foundation in this regard, and the latter informed the audience about the application developments that were carried out in the spirit of the partnership between Apple and Salesforce signed last year.

True to tradition, Dreamforce has now brought together the most prominent international representatives of the profession, but it was far from just serious “professionalization”. The conference is a real community building, fun event as well. It came as a surprise at the conclusion of the keynote presentations Alicia Keys Immersive concert. It was not for nothing that the hostesses greeted us with “enjoy the show” after registration. As a spin-off of the professional performances, the highlight of the informal programs was the Beck and Fleetwood Mac concert in Oracle Park. With 171,000 conference attendees at the same time, it was amazing to see that so many people can be brought together by a technology conference. The program was also an unforgettable experience for us, valuable contacts were made, among others, with other Salesforce partners in Central Europe, whose value is shown later, in our daily work. In our experience, our clients also benefit from the knowledge, inspirations and professional friendships gained at DreamForce. This has been the case for years, and we feel it will be no different this time.
